Pumpback stations fluidize chips for pumping chips and coolant to an overhead heavy duty coolant return header and ultimately to a central or regional filter. Dirty coolant headers can be viavent, flushed return or pump direct to a regional filter or collector pumpback.
Pumpback stations are designed around the needs of the machine and chips produced. They can include, a lift conveyor for low discharge, shredders or crushers for strings and turnings and drag conveyors for broken chips and larger coolant holding requirements.
Where layout permits, several machines can discharge into one Pumpback.
Pumpback stations can have independent controls or be controlled by the machine tool.
