Fastener Conveyors

Mayfran’s fastener conveyors are used in the process of manufacturing fasteners to move material from one operation to another: cutting, heading (also known as forging, whether it’s hot, warm or cold), threading and hot-dip galvanizing. Hinged steel-belt conveyors are a fast and efficient way to automatically transport loads and materials within an area.

The conveyors are available in various belt configurations and in either open- or closed-frame construction. Mayfran offers its hinged steel-belt fastener conveyors in pitches of 2.5″, 4″ or 6″, depending on load and temperature specifications.

Mayfran’s fastener conveyors also come with several application-specific options, including:

  • Double-strand chains
  • Perforated belts for extra coolant flow
  • Notched cleats for drainage
  • Various cleat configurations
  • Cleats welded 100% all around
  • Stainless steel belting, pins, hinge sleeves and steel bushings
  • Impact shoes
  • Hardened pins
  • Variable speed drives

The fastener conveyors are energy efficient and optimized for scrap loads. They are easy to maintain and install and offer safety measures to protect workers. Our application engineers can work with you to develop your specifications for your particular application.
